A place where every resident and their loved ones are fully supported and cared for while facing end-of-life.

That place is Neshama Hospice. Neshama means ‘soul’.

As Canada's first hospice residence founded on Jewish values and open to all, Neshama Hospice is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care in a home-like environment that honours all individuals, their loved ones, and their diverse backgrounds.

This unique 21,926 sq ft residence features 12 private rooms with home comforts and private gardens. Each space intentionally designed for dignity, tradition, and healing. A purpose-built residence, Neshama Hospice also features a great room for families to gather, private therapy spaces, kosher kitchens, a therapeutic spa room and more. A team of interprofessional experts ensures families and residents are cared for with culturally sensitive support that honours their traditions, as well as comprehensive end-of-life counselling, grief and bereavement. Neshama will also train professionals throughout the healthcare community in supportive end-of-life care practices.
